HEY, I'M Kim Mansour...

I'm a certified coach who previously worked in technology for startup companies for 20+ years. I also became a mom and my heart was suddenly outside of me running around in these two adorable humans who I wanted the absolute best for. As their independence grew I became ready to start a new chapter for myself. But what? Go back into tech? Maybe a photographer? Oh I know, how about interior design? Wait a minute - who am I kidding? I can't even keep up with the laundry. And on and on it would go.

When we are facing a crossroad we spin out so easily, circling around and around while remaining conveniently safe in routines. Burning so much energy on manufactured problems and indecision, hoping our next step will simply fall into our lap.

How did I become a coach?

It began (as it always does) with a thought: surely there is a better way of living my life, and my mind got to work finding some answers. I came across coaching and devoured it. I was continually mind-blown at how my limiting views on goals, boundaries, and discomfort had impacted my life. I began training to become a coach myself, so I could share what helped me with as many as I can.

How can coaching make a difference?

It can't magically change your circumstances or the number of dollars in the bank account. So will a coach expect you to pretend your problems aren't real and everything is awesome?

No. I do not do positivity-police coaching. Reinvention doesn't always feel warm and fuzzy, and that's ok. I help you learn to make friends with these less appealing emotions like discomfort and dread. We'll work on how to find your compass again, and how profoundly old thought-habits can run (ruin?) your life. I'll be helping you understand how the brain works and how much it loves habit and routine, so you can spot it's efforts to run back to the safe and familiar.

You will end our time with an awareness of how to manage your mind, clarity around where you are going and a plan to get there.
